Meet Joseph

Hello and allow me to introduce myself.

I am a United States born, US citizen. I grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in New Jersey.

I attended local public schools for K - 8 and went to Catholic High School. I attended Rutgers University where I received a BA in Accounting with a Marketing Management minor. I later attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where I received a MBA in Finance and a 2nd MBA in Information technology.

I have been working since I was 16 years old. I put myself through college working in the Trucking Industry. I loaded and drove trucks, later working in the office as a router and biller. After graduating college I worked in Banking as an internal auditor. I later was employed by a Fortune 50 defense contractor and than for a Luxury Automotive Manufacturer. I later was employed by an International Cosmetics company where I worked in International Finance implementing ERP software. I finished my private industry career working for a major software company assisting Fortune 500 companies as a Project Manager for their financial products.

I left private industry to start several small businesses to include Management Consulting for Gaming and Hospitality, Staff Augmentation for Power Plants and lastly Trucking Freight Company.

I am married, have three sons and three grandchildren.

I have lived at the same residence in Tara for 18 years. I have been a Supervisor on the Tara Preserve CDD for 6 years, most recently as Chairman. I have previously been on several committees with my COA and have been an active committee member of the Tara Master Association.

I am running for the office of County Commissioner in District 5 because I believe my education, skills and life experiences can assist in getting the Manatee BOCC back on track with representing the will of all of our citizens, while maintaining a level of professionalism, respect, responsibility, civility and accountability from the Dias that appears to be void by some.

I have been a NPA since I moved to Manatee County. I believe that 90% of all of our concerns are not associated with a specific political party. I have worked with the Right, Left and Center all my life and will focus on representing everyone for the best possible and feasible decisions benefiting all of Manatee County.

Thank you
